Payment must be made after registering online via this website or if directed to register via 'email' by Mark.
A tax invoice will be sent out after payment/registration is confirmed. (If this cannot be achieved, a printed invoice/reciept will be issued during the course).

Terms & Conditions
Titles
LE: Refers to Law Enforcement (including state, federal, municipal counties and districts that enforce enacted Government legislation and binding regulations/codes).
MIL: Refers to Military (Australian Defence Force) which also includes all combined arms/services of any defence force, i.e. Army, Airforce, Navy, Marines, Special Forces and Govt employed/endorsed military agencies.
GOVT: includes all sovereign countries and trade partners of Australia and legally endorsed/empowered Government agencies, (such as Corrective Services, Customs, Quarantine, Judicial Court employees) and legally endorsed and appointed subcontractors of these agencies. At the discretion of K9HC this may include Govt or private sponsored bodies that may or may not operate at a profit, such as and not limited to; assistance, guide & hearing dogs and special needs, veterinary or 'niche' capability k9 agencies at our discretion.
K9HC: Refers to K9 hard Case gear & services
K9TO: Refers to K9 TAC OPS (Tactical Operations), USA
PROXY AGENT: Refers to a person, you entrust to act on your behalf, with your permission, for example: allowing your supervisor to complete and/or pay for your registration fee) or an authorised delegate in the same capacity, i.e. resource manager/payment officer.
Fill: Refers to selling of unused course positions, not undertaken (used) by an Agency booking (Host agency).
Agency: Refers to a Government employed/endorsed law enforcement body/agency or department of Australia or its trade partner countries.
This includes all and any K9 Special Forces units, Police, Tactical, Corrective Service, Riot Squad and Veterinary services.
Registration Fee Includes
* Participation in the 4 day Course
* Lesson handouts (as required) as part of a day of classroom theory
* Certificate on successful completion
* Access to light lunch daily.
* Access to limited video and photo's captured during the course and used in publicity of the event and future events conducted by K9HC.
Please note: travel and accommodation of dog teams is not included. (agencies encouraged to liaise with fellow interstate dog agencies).
Dress Code
Appropriate athletic attire including closed toe footwear and personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Equipment
It is better to bring your equipment and not use it, than for you to need the equipment and not have it. Please be sure that your packing list includes,
but is not necessarily limited to:
* Bite suit (complete) along with all associated K9 equipment. (Interstate students please call and liaise ahead).
* Schutzhund style bite sleeves.
* Hidden sleeves.
* Agitation muzzle, short leash, long leash & first aid kit etc.
* Groin guard (cup).
Refund Policy
* Refunding of course bookings is at discretion of the event promoters.
* Where refunds are offered the refunded amount will reflect any losses or expenses incurred as a result of cancellation.
* A minimum Administration fee of $550 per person will be deducted from any refunds issued, and all refunds must be applied for in writing.
* Failure to attend any or all of the course will not be considered as a valid reason for refund by promoters.
* K9HC reserve the right to cancel, alter the content and/or presenter on any program if necessary.
* K9HC reserve the right to refund fees in the event of an 'influx' of bookings to conduct 'priority vetting' (see below note on 'priority vetting').
* Paid registration fees will be fully refunded for cancelled events by the organisers.
Course Venue
* Greater CBD and surrounding areas (location given to students once enrolled).
* On site: Male/Female Toilets, tap water for dogs, shaded rest area for students.
* Limited car park space and shaded area/trees for dogs/vehicles may be available.
* Sydney based course is in close proximity for emergencies (10 min drive) to a local Hospital.
* Appropriate Veterinary care & first aid facilities will be identified on commencement of course.
* Appropriate learning area/classroom will be provided with data projector ability.
* A primary & alternate training venue may be booked as a redundancy plan.
Agency Bookings
'Agency bookings' refer to an event organised for one specific agency at their request, to be hosted by them at their location and venue/s.
An 'Agency booking' includes the following agreed conditions by the host agency and event organisers K9HC.
* Transfers to and from airport, accommodation and training venue/s remains the responsibility of the host agency unless by prior arrangement.
* Such bookings may incur a travel expense where locations are considered by organisers to be 'remote', such as regional areas, overseas
locations, etc and this will be assessed on a case by case basis.
* Fees for an agency booking are $9950. This price includes min 10 participant places on the course (subject to approval). All participants must be from the booking agency (unless by prior written agreement with organisers) and verification of this will be required prior to the course.
* Unlimited 'observers' from the same (host) agency, commencing from day 2 of the course (TBC) prior to course.
* Should credit card payment be necessary K9HC reserve the right to charge an administration fee in addition to the course cost for each payment that is made. K9HC do not accept credit cards.
* Host agency is required to provide appropriate practical training areas and learning area/classroom with provision for use of a data projector and whiteboard.
* Payment of a deposit of 50% is required within 10 days of an agency booking a course.
* The balance of the total remaining amount is due within 30 days, post deposit being paid (or 30 days prior to attending course).
* Refunding of deposits is at the discretion of the event promoters, and where refunds are offered the refunded amount will reflect any losses or expenses incurred as a result of cancellation.
* Accept & organise 1 x Instructor and 1 x (safety/Instructor assistant) accommodation and airport transfers (if required).
* Accept and organise appropriate Vet care and emergency casualty evacuation plan.
* K9HC reserve the right to (fill) remaining 'non actioned ' course positions from and in consultation with the 'Host agency'.
Accommodation & Travel
* Travel and accommodation fees are not included in the course fees.
* We do not refund airfares or hotel expenses if the event is cancelled.
Privacy Policy & Updating Your Details
* All Business or Employment details will not be given to anyone for any reason, unless permission is given by those people in advance.
Media terms
* For the purpose of teaching, reviewing techniques, de-briefing and safety; video footage and/or still photo's may be taken.
* By not stating to us at the time of filming/photography, of your objections/restrictions, then the footage will be vetted, so as not to disclose individuals and agencies.
* Footage will be used only to promote K9 hard Case gear & services Seminars/courses/events.
Priority Vetting
K9HC reserve the right to 'refund' payments based on a heavy influx of registrations that may disadvantage other units with a higher tactical need (i.e. S.E.R.T., S.T.A.R., S.O.G., C.I.R.T, T.O.U., S.R.G., T.R.G.) and other Tactical units (including K9), which hold a higher national rating of priority and training requirement. The refunded students will be priority booked on a subsequent course for 2015 or 'extended' course dates if determined.

* By you as the registering and/or participating course student, you hereby acknowledge the undertaking of adhering to the above & below conditions.
* By you or your proxy agent compiling the online registration form and/or paying the agreed fee, that you agree that you have your agency/supervisors permission to attend this course.
* By registering, paying and attending this course, you agree that you are a qualified LE/GOVT/MIL employee and/or k9 handler and a fit person of mind and body to undertake the rigors of this course.
* By being a qualified LE/GOVT/MIL employee, with your supervisors permission to attend this training, that you will seek any injury claims through Government providers, i.e. COMCARE or approved State Govt equivalent agencies and not K9HC, K9TO or the host unit location provider.
* That due to your above coverage, that you agree not hold ADF, K9HC or K9TO responsible for any injury sustained as a result of undertaking this course and related training in accordance with them following the course curriculum and enacted safety precautions put in place to the best of their abilities and resources.
